A circular metal plate with a distinctive geometric pattern, formed by concentric circles of square protrusions, rests in a rough concrete pavement. The inscriptions 'HUGHES & LANCASTER' and 'LONDON' indicate the British provenance of this example, which the Institute of Lidology is pleased to include in its collection. The obvious wear and the date '85 evoke a rich history of engineering, probably dating from the late 19th century.

Kruhová kovová deska s výrazným geometrickým vzorem, tvořeným soustřednými kruhy čtvercových výstupků, spočívá v hrubé betonové dlažbě. Nápisy "HUGHES & LANCASTER" a "LONDON" naznačují britský původ tohoto exempláře, který Institut Lidologie s potěšením zařazuje do své sbírky. Zjevné opotřebení a letopočet '85 evokují bohatou historii inženýrství, pravděpodobně z konce 19. století.
