Manhole cover #9932630505

The circular metal structure, clearly an artefact of the city's infrastructure, is set in a pavement of rough granite blocks. A central arrow-shaped symbol pointing downwards indicates the direction of flow or location, which is crucial for philological research. The inscriptions 'ALVESTA' and 'VATEK' around the perimeter provide a clue to its geographical and functional identification, allowing its inclusion in the Swedish manhole typology.
