The heraldic emblem with two crowned griffin heads dominates the centre of the circular metal disc, surrounded by the inscription 'MALMÖ STAD'. Set in a cobbled pathway with grass growing through it, this example bears signs of normal wear and tear, indicating its long service in the city's infrastructure. According to the Institute of Lidology, it is a typical example of Scandinavian urban design.
