Manhole cover #7969625431

A grid pattern of small squares covers the entire surface of this circular specimen, which is surrounded by asphalt with a fine growth of moss. The centrally placed inscription 'ZEKOM' and the marking 'Φ 600' indicate its specifications, while two elongated slits are used for handling. This is a robust artefact of urban infrastructure, the study of which would certainly enrich the archives of the Institute of Lidology.
