Manhole cover #7497447872

In the centre of the concrete slab is a circular cast-iron specimen with a distinctive central symbol resembling a stylised tree or heraldic emblem. The surrounding geometric pattern, made up of rectangular segments, suggests a functional and aesthetic intention, which is of interest to the Institute of Lidology. A discarded cigarette butt lies nearby, adding an authentic, if somewhat unruly, human element to the scene.
