Manhole cover #5826840945

This example of urban infrastructure, elaborately decorated with ornaments resembling chains, is dominated by the inscription "BUDAPEST" in the centre. Surrounding texts, including 'FŐVÁROSI CSATORNÁZÁSI MŰVEK ZRT.', clearly identify its function within the Hungarian capital's sewerage system. The Institute of Lidology would note that the surface shows a typical patina of time, which is quite common for cast iron artefacts in urban environments.
