Manhole cover in Alken, Central Jutland, Denmark

According to Heraldry of the World, the three towers on the city's coat of arms (and the lid) refer to the ancient Sanderborg Castle, which is said to have been destroyed in the 18th century.

De drie torens op het stadswapen (en de deksel) verwijzen volgens Heraldry of the World naar het oeroude Sanderborg Slot dat in de 18e eeuw verwoest zou zijn.
