Manhole cover in Bragança, Portugal

A pavement of rough granite cubes surrounds a central metal disc, the surface of which is covered with a repeating pattern of the letter 'F' with three dots. This graphic element, scattered seemingly at random, creates a visually dynamic texture. From the point of view of philology, this specimen represents a fascinating study of the standardized aesthetics of urban furnishings.
