The rusted surface of this example of urban infrastructure is clearly stamped with the word 'OOGINK' and below it 'DRAINAGE' with an arrow indicating its function. The surrounding brick paving with its interspersed moss gives this functional feature an unexpected patina that could be the subject of a deeper philological analysis.
