Manhole cover in Longarone, Italy

In the immediate vicinity of the Museo Vajont is a remarkable example of a square cast-iron hatch, the surface of which is decorated with a complex geometric pattern of interlocking rectangles, testifying to the precision of the guild's craftsmanship. The patina of rust gives this artefact of industrial archaeology a deep historical texture, while the slight irregularity in the centre suggests long service in the urban infrastructure.

V bezprostřední blízkosti Museo Vajont se nachází pozoruhodný exemplář čtvercového litinového poklopu, jehož povrch zdobí složitý geometrický vzor propletených obdélníků, svědčící o preciznosti cechovního řemesla. Patina rzi dodává tomuto artefaktu industriální archeologie hlubokou historickou texturu, zatímco drobná nepravidelnost uprostřed naznačuje dlouhou službu v městské infrastruktuře.
