The entire surface of the hatch bears a warm brown shade of rust, which contrasts with the cool tone of the paving stones.

Zrezivělý kruhový poklop s bohatým reliéfním vzorem se výrazně vyjímá z okolní šedé zámkové dlažby. Uprostřed se nachází detailní znak s ptákem s roztaženými křídly, pod nímž jsou nápisy "HAVLÍČKŮV BROD" a "KANALIZACE", zatímco horní část vnitřního kruhu zdobí slovo "VODOVODY".
