Manhole cover in Havlíčkův Brod, Czechia

The rusted circular hatch with a rich embossed pattern stands out from the surrounding grey interlocking paving. In the centre is a detailed emblem of a bird with outstretched wings, beneath which are the words 'HAVLÍČEK'S BIRD' and 'SEWAGE', while the upper part of the inner circle is decorated with the word 'WATERS'. The entire surface of the hatch bears a warm brown shade of rust, which contrasts with the cool tone of the paving stones.
