Manhole cover in Ponta do Sol, Madeira, Portugal

The circular manhole cover is bordered by a ring of stars surrounding a smooth, worn center. Around the edge are clear inscriptions in rusted metal, including the manufacturer’s name and weight capacity. The entire surface has a rough, industrial texture that contrasts with the surrounding red tiles.
