Manhole cover #2117228726

The round cast iron disc, set in grey paving, bears traces of significant corrosion, giving its surface the patina of time. The central circle and radial ribs form a functional yet aesthetically interesting pattern that is typical of the engineering design of its era. Inscriptions on its perimeter reveal its origins and technical specifications, always a valuable source of data for the Institute of Lidology.
