Manhole cover in Hradec Králové, Czechia

The surface of the circular metal disc is dominated by a central cross motif, surrounded by concentric circles and rough paving. The inscription "WATER" at the bottom clearly classifies this specimen as part of a water supply network, which is crucial for the study of urban philology. Moisture and patina on its surface indicate long-term interaction with atmospheric phenomena, which is typical of this class of artifacts.
